Artist Trading Cards - ATCs

These small 2.5 X 3.5 inch works of art are made to trade.

Artist Trading Cards, or ATCs, were the brain child of M. Vänçi Stirnemann of Switzerland who made a stunning number of ATCs and had an exhibition to display them. At the end of the exhibition, he held a swap. His vision was that artists would trade these cards. The culture surrounding these cards is that they are to be given freely or swapped. Selling ATCs is frowned upon in the ATC community.

My ATCs tend to feature magazine images collaged and subtitled or nature-inspired pieces.
